A Little About Me: I am from Marysville, WA originally and my family moved to Kingston, WA while I was in grade school. I went to Kingston High School the first year they opened. Then I went to Olympic College in Bremerton, WA for my associate degree. I then transferred that degree to Washington State University where I completed my bachelor’s in biology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Go Cougs!

My favorite aspects of veterinary medicine are feline medicine, internal medicine, and surgery. I love to listen to a lot of audiobooks and podcasts! I can’t say I have a favorite, and I’d love your recommendations! I am taking on the world with my two furry sidekicks: Pablo, an adult domestic long hair cat; and Bagel, a senior pug mix.

I graduated May 2020 from veterinary school, but I started working as a kennel assistant in 2008.

Why do you work at Poulsbo Marina Veterinary Clinic?: As a new graduate I need a great team where I can grow and learn! I met Dr. Hickey my first year of veterinary school and she has been a phenomenal mentor. The PMVC team focuses on excellent medicine, collaboration, and a positive work culture. I am very lucky to join such a wonderful team.

If you could live anywhere but here, where would it be?: Berlin, London, or any city with great food and a lot of culture!
