Length of time in veterinary field: Graduated from veterinary school in May 2019
A Little Bit About Me: I grew up in Bonney Lake, Washington with my parents, brother, and our veritable miniature zoo (dogs, parakeets, fish, frogs, crawdads, hamsters, and hermit crabs). I attended school at Washington State University in Pullman for my Bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences as well as my veterinary degree.
My favorite movie is Forrest Gump (I could watch it on a loop!). My favorite book is ‘The Art of Racing in the Rain’ (a real tear-jerker). I live with my best friend – a dog named Finn. I rescued him in 2014 and now he’s my favorite adventure buddy – hiker, backpacker, kayaker, and professional snuggler.
Why do you work at Poulsbo Marina Veterinary Clinic?: Pets are such an important part of the family, and I love being able to keep them healthy and happy.
If you could live anywhere but here, where would it be?: I would love to live in New Zealand – but I’d settle for a vacation there too!
