I grew up in La Quinta, California, where I was an active member of 4-H for over nine years.During that time, I raised market pigs and goats and showed chickens at a variety of fairs, whichhelped spark my passion for animal care.

I went on to earn my Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Idaho, andthen continued there to complete a Master’s degree with an emphasis in lactation physiology.During my graduate work, I studied dairy cattle and their immune response to wildfire smokeexposure.

After completing my Master’s, I spent a year working as a veterinary technician at a smallanimal general practice in Moscow, Idaho before beginning veterinary school at WashingtonState University.

I enjoy working with a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, goats, sheep, andcattle. I’m excited to begin my career with Poulsbo Marina Veterinary Clinic and look forward to building lasting relationships with both clients and their pets.
